All my prints are made with handworked, handprinted copper plates.This traditional printmaking process, known as intaglio, was chosen for it’s unique qualities. Coloured inks are applied to specific areas of each plate and then carefully hand wiped. Printing multiple plates results in a layered, richly textured image. All prints are printed in small editions.
